Hermann Sievers has more than twenty years of extensive experience in marketing, sales and trade marketing at international branded goods companies as well as in the food retail sector. E.g. for more than a decade, he was responsible for the national marketing of German market leader EDEKA. Prior to this he worked at international FMCG companies like Unilever and Philip Morris. Thus he has in-depth knowledge from practice in both strategy development and implementation. Since founding smk-consult in 2008, he has been using this knowledge and insights in numerous projects for manufacturers, suppliers and service providers. If necessary, he can call on an international network of experts.

Hermann has a Master degree in Business Administration of Technical University Berlin. He is supervisory board member of SME´s and a regular speaker on industry events, columnist on Private Label and Retail issues for leading trade magazines. In addition, he contributes to the books “Managing Private Labels” (2015 in English) as to „Marketing fur Handelsmarken“ (2016 in German).
